As we continue to look at routine prayers we say without thought, today we will remix the "Lord, be with us." Louie Giglio explains how we are always in the presence of God and want to see evidence of that.

Summary

What is the next common prayer that needs to be remixed?

"Lord, be with us, be with me."

We are really saying that we need to know He is in the midst. We need evidence of this God that dwells within, moving with us in this moment. (So just say that.)

Asking God to" be with us" is ridiculous. Galatians 2:20 tells us that Christ lives IN us. We are asking God, who lives in us, to be with us. If He is living in you, He is most definitely with you.

Remix: Thank you, Lord, that you are here and You dwell in me. Jesus live through me.

What's Next?

I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. – Galatians 2:20

  1. Where does Christ live? So, why do we ask Him to be with us? If He wasn't with us, where else could he be?

  2. Think carefully about this prayer and the remix that was given. How can you shift this in your every day and have a total change of perspective?
