It’s Time to Get Started

Eventually, we all have to have a Lift-Off moment in our lives. Yes, we need to prepare, to train, to rehearse, but if the lift-off never happens, then it’s possible we’ll have wasted our journey around the Sun.

Today can be the day that you say to God that you are ready to do something with Him this year. Today could be the day that you start to repair that relationship, improve your health, and take an actual step towards joining God in what He is doing in and around us. So what are you waiting for?

It’s time to get started.

20Walk with the wise and become wise,

for a companion of fools suffers harm.

13Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.”

14Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.

15Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.”

12Teach us to number our days,

that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
