24.“ ‘For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land. 25.I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. 26.I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 27.And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.
1.The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. 2.He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. 3.He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.”4.Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!
14.When they came to the other disciples, they saw a large crowd around them and the teachers of the law arguing with them. 15.As soon as all the people saw Jesus, they were overwhelmed with wonder and ran to greet him.16. “What are you arguing with them about?” he asked.17.A man in the crowd answered, “Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that has robbed him of speech. 18.Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to drive out the spirit, but they could not.”19. “You unbelieving generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to me.”20.So they brought him. When the spirit saw Jesus, it immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth.21.Jesus asked the boy’s father, “How long has he been like this?” “From childhood,” he answered. 22.“It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.”23. “ ‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”24.Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”25.When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the impure spirit. “You deaf and mute spirit,” he said, “I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.”26.The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, “He’s dead.” 27.But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him to his feet, and he stood up.28.After Jesus had gone indoors, his disciples asked him privately, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?”
26.Above the vault over their heads was what looked like a throne of lapis lazuli, and high above on the throne was a figure like that of a man. 27.I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him. 28.Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking.
10.that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,11.and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
