Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
God, this world I live in is broken — overflowing with sin, enmity, immorality, dissension, and trepidation.
As the seconds, minutes, and hours trudge forward, we become closer and closer to Your triumphal arrival, and I am filled with eager anticipation as one of Your chosen children, holy and beloved.
Victory will be, and already is, Yours. At last.
But God, while I am still here. While there is breath in my lungs, I pray I will find ways to bring heaven to earth.
Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Where there is hardness, help me stay soft.
Where there is cruelty, help me be kind.
Where there is pride, help me be humble.
Where there is arrogance, help me be meek.
Where there is hurriedness, help me be patient.
Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
God, You see the divide.
You see neighbor against neighbor, brother against brother.
Father, help me bear with others,
Help me forgive as You have forgiven me.
Above all else, help me put on love,
which binds everything together in perfect harmony.
Let the peace of Christ rule in my heart.
Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Let me be thankful.
Let the word of Christ dwell in me richly,
allowing me to teach and admonish others in all wisdom,
singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs.
Whatever I do, in word or deed,
I pray that I would do everything in Your name, Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to You.
Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
