It wasn’t until she began to come to church and get connected that she accepted Jesus as Lord over her life. And Jesus healed Elise completely! She is celebrating 3 years in remission.
Jared's comeback story: While preparing for his career as an athlete to begin Jared had a minor surgery that ended up having complications and eventually needing to get his leg amputated. Jared resorted to drugs and alcohol to cope with the loss of being a track star. God pulled Jared from the depths and encouraged him to continue to live his dreams. Jared went on to run for the US.
Courtney's comeback story: On the day before Thanksgiving in 2012 Courtney lost her husband in a biking accident. She became a widow with three children. Over the last few years, Courtney has seen the mercy of God as he breathes joy back into her family's lives.
