A Perfect Father

In this Father’s Day message, Louie Giglio reminds all of us that before we do anything for God, we have to know who we are in God: learning to be a BE an imitator of a God, walking in love and living a life of love knowing how much He gave himself as a sacrifice.

1See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

2Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

1Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children

2and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
